28 Day Gratitude Challenge

Its November, and that means fall, beautiful colors on the trees, and Thanks Giving.  "The man who has nothing to be grateful for is a man who has fallen asleep in life." Jeffry R. Holland.  Life is so busy, life is so full of changes, falling asleep during life would be so awful to me.  I feel like all the good, all the joy, all the beauty in life would be gone.  Hope would no longer work.  So here's to being AWAKE during our life journey!  Here's to BEAUTY!  Here's to JOY!  Here's to HOPE!  We're starting a Month Long Gratitude Challenge to everyone.  Come join us one a day commenting with something you were grateful for that day.  Or write it in your journal or diary, for some may be very personal.

  1. I am thankful for the trees that turn color in the fall.  After living in Utah for 3 years, where there are very few trees, and they don't really turn color in the fall, this is something I will never take for granted again.
  2. I am thankful for family, who no matter who I am, what I am, what I do are there for me.  I am grateful for their love, support, understanding, and willingness to forgive easily.
  3. I am grateful for friends who have loved me, supported me, and stuck with me through my mistakes, through my growing up, through my learning experiences.
  4. I am thankful for my talents, for without them my life would not be busy, my life would not be fun, my life would not be beautiful.

  12. It is so easy to not count our blessings daily. We make it a point to say grace before each meal and to remember the people, activities, and items that we are blessed with. Up in North GA, watching the leaves change is a major activity!

  24. Being thankful is always a good thing no matter what, but this is probably one of the reasons Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday, not just the food, but the thankfulness that is on everyone's mind. It seems like some people are just more pleasant this time of year.
