Manicure Monday: Mature Glitter

L'Oreal: Jet set to paris 540, NYC: Matte me Crazy finish, Sinful Colors: Hottie 831

I recommend using Elmer's glue for your skin protection because my coconut oil didn't work.

On the Middle and ring finger nails, put one even coat of Sinful Colors: Hottie

Last coat: over the dried Sinful Color coat, add 1 coat of the Matte Finish.

You may ask why on most of my glitter nail designs I usually put the Matte finish over top.  Well, glitter is really fun, young girls, teens, college girls, career women, and even mature adult women love glitter, but it may look too immature for some aged women to wear it.  So by Matting the finish of the glitter, you still get the beautiful sparkly affect but more mature looking!

Swirl Paint kit for Kids

Details: Kids Stuff Swirl Paint art set with 3 color paints.  Hand turned dial for swirling/ spinning options.  Set the preset cards in the appropriate grooves and locked securely in position.  Pull the handle to make the card spin.  Squeeze the paint on the card while it is spinning.  Colors and contents may vary from illustrations.  Conforms to ASTM D-4236.  Each bottle of paint is 3.5 grams.  For ages 5 and up.

My Review:  I love these painting tools.  They are so fun to use with kids.  a great tool to learn about color mixing, and force and art of course, if you are thinking along a Homeschooling mind set.  We were given 2 for gifts for our children.  We opened one and the kids started using it without adult supervision, as they sneaked into my art boxes while I wasn't around.  The cards that come cut to size are glossy card stock.  There are 6 cards per set.  The paint I thought would be similar to acrylic paint, but it is more like thicker finger paint, as its thick, and gloppy. The colors mix really well, and if you use too much paint everything turns to blackish brown.  Again, with the paint being thicker than normal paper paint, it does take a few hours to dry.  The paint being thick builds up along the inside of the spinner and ends up messing up the cards when in use.  I'm still not sure how to fix this, but hopefully with more use we'll figure out how to overcome this negative issue.

My Review: I love this coconut oil.  I don't usually buy coconut oil, but since being with my Mother-In-Law this past year, she uses a lot of coconut oil, so I've used about 4 different brands.  This brand is by far the most amazing coconut oil brand I've seen.  Looking at the coconut oil, in its solid form, through the glass bottle you can see how pure, and white and natural it looks.  Once you open the bottle and every time you open it, you can smell the coconut scent because of the Virgin organic coconuts used to make this oil.  Coconut oil easily and quickly turns from a solid to a liquid at room temperature, but this glass bottle keeps the oil from going liquid inside it.  I've used this oil to 1. season my Ozeri Eco Friendly frying pans, 2. cook gluten free cupcakes, 3. make all natural chocolate for dipping fruit and things in, 4. finger nail cuticle care and much more.  I'm very impressed with the quality, and even though the price is steep, for what you get, and it being Organic, I can't complain, because its totally worth every penny!

Extra:  So at the beginning of this review, I mentioned that my Mother-In-Law buys a lot of coconut oil, and she had her favorites, but over the past year we've tried 4-5 different brands.  Here is a comparison of her favorite coconut oil verses Tropical Traditions coconut oil.  Just looking at everything on both bottles, I am sold on which to choose.

My Review:  This is one of the best shoe insoles I've ever tried.  Its soft to walk, cushy to run on.  I put them in my boots, which I wear all winter long, and have noticed my normal foot pain and knee pain isn't coming.  I would wear a pair of these insoles in every pair of shoes I own if I had the chance.  My feet still breathe so they doesn't get sweaty, which is really nice too.  If you go to the Dr.Scholl's website they are currently offering a $2 off coupon for insoles for her.

Pros: amazing! I love the arch support, I love the comfort, I love being able to cut this to fit my shoes!

Cons: I need like 10 more pair :)

My Review: I have personally tried many different types of weight loss tablets, pills, capsules, and this brand was a total surprise.   What I like about it in the very beginning is that it is made up of stuff I know, and stuff I can read and pronounce the name of.  (Always a key).   I like that there is no smell or after taste, or taste in general.  I like that its not a HUGE horse pill, but despite the size its still very easy to go down with water.  (Which is another key for me, as I can't take pills of any type without juice)  What happened is that I started taking these pills.  I would take one tablet before each meal, and usually I would only remember to take it 2 times a day.  But for the past 2 months I've been doing this.  I haven't change my eating habit, as while taking this I've had 3 birthday parties, Halloween, and access to lots of yummy sweets.  So without changing my diet, I lost 13 lbs.  I'm very proud of myself, for sticking with this, finding something that works when I don't change anything, because 3 weeks ago I was given the best ever workout DVD, so for the past 3 weeks I've been including with my weight loss tablets a 15 minute workout daily.  So I can imagine that the results will increase.

Pros: it works, its safe for people with high blood pressure, and for diabetics.
